Howard is an award-winning writer and director of 11 feature films and over 250 TV commercials.

In 2023, as Director; His climbing thriller ‘The Ledge’, for GFM Films, was given a 1000+ screen theatrical release & was distributed by Paramount/Saban (US) & Signature/Netflix UK. It reached number 6 of all films on Netflix in the UK & is selling in almost every territory globally. Picking up its first award of 2023 at the 10th Magica Awards Night. 

Having begun making short films aged just 13, Howard directed his first feature film aged 21 with Hugo Speer. Since then, his features as director, include worldwide Horror hits ‘The Dead’ filmed in Africa & ‘The Dead 2, in India.

Simultaneously Howard has been a successful commercials director working worldwide for agencies such as Saatchi & Saatchi, Lowe Lintas, McCann’s & DDB, creating numerous successful and award-winning campaigns.

Howard's female driven thriller, ‘Never Let Go’, (2015) shot in Morocco/Spain/US was voted Best Independent Film of 2016 at The National Film Awards (Beating Multi Oscar Nominated ‘Carol’ and Sean Penn’s ‘The Gunman' to the title). Released by Sony Pictures across North America, it has also been a successful title on Netflix, Amazon Prime and numerous other global platforms.

Howard didn’t let the recent global pandemic stop him. During the first UK Lockdown he Directed a feature film ‘The Lockdown Hauntings’, shot with no crew whatsoever but a lot of known actors including Tony Todd from ‘Candyman/Final Destination/Star Trek’, released both streaming and theatrical from April 2021. (UK - Altitude Films).

Howard's slate for 2024

Releasing early 2024 is Howard’s latest feature; a gripping thriller titled ‘DarkGame’ starring Ed Westwick. A determined detective is in a race against time to stop a twisted game show on the dark web, where captives are forced to compete for their lives.
 

Due for Release is a survival thriller ‘Escape’. A violent sex trafficking gang take ten young women from an island resort for delivery to an overseas client. A young nurse and feisty dancer hatch an escape-plan. But find themselves in the desert fighting for their lives.

Now entering Post Production is 'River of Blood'. Two young couples seek adventure and solitude on the holiday of a lifetime. However, one of them dissappears and the others discover an indigenous tribe. They realise to their horror that cannibalism is alive and well in the jungle.

Howard is also attached to four further feature films which are in the casting stages.
